The apartment is in the area of Villamartin with the nearest Town being Torrevieja. There are 2 major airports both of which are around 45 mins away Alicante and Murcia International. A taxi from the airport to the apartment will cost roughly 70 euros and these can be found right outside the airports.
Both Ryanair & easyjet fly regularly into both airports from most airports in the UK.
Buses
There is a bus which goes from the airport to Torrevieja. From there its about a 10min journey to the apartment stop. You can also catch a bus easily to Torrevieja bus station which then will give you access to travel to most places along the coast.
Bars & Restaurants
You have such a selection of bars and restaurants so here gives you a guide.
Down the road out of apartment gates there’s your local bars and restaurants including a Chinese and Indian restaurant.
Up the road out of apartment gates you’re firstly come across a local bar called Royal Oak who serve a fantastic English breakfast and right next door is a fabulous Chinese restaurant. Carry on walking past these just past the super market and banks down the hill there is a wonderful square called La Fuente this is jammed packed with bars and restaurants to many to mention and if you’re interested in a bargain we highly recommend Evolutions who have happy hours every day on food and drink and shows all football games. For those of you that like to stay out late we would recommend The Stray Sod which has live bands starting around 10.00pm.
5 mins walk from the apartment is La Fuenta commercial centre with lots of bars, restaurants & live music
Villamartin Plaza
A couple minutes’ drive or 20 min walk from the apartment you have the world-famous Villamartin Plaza which on its double levels is full of fantastic bars and restaurants. We would recommend Fairways Chill out Lounge for food it’s a must try. On the lower level a few times a week this Plaza has live entertainment for you to enjoy free of charge. There is a taxi rank right outside Plaza for your journey home.
Golf Courses
You have 3 top class golf courses within 1/4 mile from the apartments, Villamartin, Campoamor & Las Ramblas these are all fantastic courses with many more courses within 10 to 30min drive away such as Las Colinas. We recommend for more info & to book your golf you contact this golf shop which is located next to the banks just past supermarket as they get the best deals for all local courses and can help with anything golf related.
Go Carts
The nearest go carts are a short 10-minute drive down the NN332 towards Torrevieja and has two different courses for older and younger people. It is open 7 days a week until late.
Water Park
The nearest water park is around 20-minute drive past the go carts heading into Torrevieja where it is well sign posted it also has rides for both older and younger people this is only open June to end of August
Harbours
We have many harbours located all down the coast close to us. The one we would recommend as a must see is Torrevieja Marina De Salinas, this is beautiful and relaxing with lots to see and wonderful restaurants and great night life.
Beaches
There are lots of beaches within 10 to 15 minutes’ drive from the apartments, but we do recommend La Zenia beach, this is very popular and has good facilities around for your convenience.
Shopping Centres
There is one of the largest shopping centres 5 minutes down the road from the apartments only built in 2016 it has every brand and shop that you could think of also has wonderful restaurants, and other activities to keep you amused. There are also shopping centres in Torrevieja.
Supermarkets & Banks
There are a lots of supermarkets around with the nearest large one called Mercadonna a short walk up the road with a couple of different banks and cash points just past it. If you carry on past these down the hill you will come to our new Aldi supermarket on the right.
